Wood Coins for Creme Caramel LA

If you were lucky enough to be one of the first 30 customers at the Grand Opening on Monday of Crème Caramel LA‘s new shop, you received a laser cut wood coin that you could redeem for a free drink. My friends Kristine and Sean opened the new shop in Sherman Oaks after two and half years of selling awesome desserts, like Crème Caramel and Bread Pudding, in farmer’s markets and the such, all around the Los Angeles area. You might remember the Dapper Wood Toy that I created for them a while back, and they asked me to create these wood coins for them this time. Definitely go check out the shop for your sweet fix and thank me later.

Minion – Wood Toy

Is anyone excited to watch Despicable Me 2? Since the new movie comes out next week, I figured creating a wood toy of one of the popular minion characters would be fun to do. Here is Stuart, standing at about 3.5″ tall. Has anyone figured out what these minions really are? Also, if you haven’t seen the Minion Blimp in the sky overhead, go and check it up.

The Despicable Me website also hosts a fan art submission, so look for this guy on there as well.
