Here are some holiday ornaments that I designed and produced in December 2014. One is a kid’s name design and the other a design based on the Golden Gate Bridge. Both are about 3″ round in size and were laser cut out of popular wood. They turned out great for hanging on the Christmas tree.
Having been a fan of Giant Robot for a long time, I was excited when asked to produce some Big Boss Robot key chains. Even more thrilled that the key chains are showcased as a San Diego Comic-Con 2014 exclusive. Only two dozen of these key chains were laser cut from alder wood, and feature a laser engraved Big Boss Robot head. If you are heading out to Comic-Con, visit the Giant Robot booth #1729 and check out the other cool exclusives there as well.
Been creating prototypes of wooden rings with “hungry” characters, so finally released the “Toto-ring”, which is inspired by a popular Japanese anime character. One side is sleepy, while the other side is hungry and “eating” your finger when you wear it.
They are laser cut and etched from cherry hardwood, then hand sanded. Also finished with a polyurethane coating. Each is individually made and unique due to the nature of wood.
You can order one here at the shop.
Released a few more styles of sneaker lace locks recently. Large #23, Diamond, and X shapes are now available at the shop. They add a fresh new look to your sneakers, especially if you want to stand out from the crowd. Check out the product pages for more detail.

Been testing new product ideas and so far, these laser cut sneaker lace locks have been turning out well.
First up, small “#23” lace locks to go with the popular Air Jordan sneaker, available in Red or Black (at the shop). As a fan of sneakers and a semi-retired sneaker collector, I want to create products that will enhance and benefit the sneaker culture/community. Using the #23 to compliment the Jordan Brand is an obvious choice. Here are the locks on my Laser IV’s and Black/Carolina Blue 14’s.
Check back for more designs for Jordan’s and other sneakers in the future.
Just released in the beginning of December and sold exclusively at Creme Caramel LA, the “Dreamy Treats” are wooden holiday ornaments inspired by the Creme Caramel LA dessert menu. Sold in sets of 3, each set represents a delicious theme. Laser cut and etched out of walnut hardwood, then hand sanded and finished, these ornaments are sized in the 3″x3″ range. They would look great decorating a tree or other holiday paraphernalia. Be sure to stop by Creme Caramel in Sherman Oaks to pick up a set (or two)! Whats your favorite?
Custom wood pendant based on the Chinese character 芸. The design was an attempt to “hide” the character in a pattern to make it look more interesting than just the character itself. Laser cut out of walnut wood and measures about 2″x1.3″.
Halloween is less than a week away, have you carved your Jack-O-Lanterns yet? Pumpkin carving is a fun and creative activity for all. Instead of carving a real one this year however, here is a wood toy version. He is laser cut from wood, then painted, and stands at just over 4″ tall. Additionally, I created these laser cut plexiglass earrings of “Jack” to commemorate the occasion (available at the shop).
Hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween next week, especially if you go out trick-or-treating!
A few weeks ago, my wife attended a bridal shower for one of her good friends who’s wedding is right around the corner. For a gift, she thought I could create a custom jewelry box and suggested an elephant theme (because of the bride’s love of elephants). Up for the challenge, I came up with this design, which measures about 5″x3″x3″ and includes the couple’s initials laser engraved of an elephant drawing, in cherry wood.
Created some new geometric shape 3D earrings with some new walnut wood that I got in. Will probably make some other shapes as I figure out what other ones will look interesting. Available now online at the shop.
Mini skateboard pendant with an etched skull design inspired by a certain brand that was popular in the 80’s.
